Wordpress Optional Excerpt

RSS ImageLately I have been using the Wordpress’s Optional Excerpt form when posting new articles.

If you have the feed to this site you will probably have noticed that the feed only shows a short description of the post instead of actually displaying the entire or partial post.

I have been doing this for all my sites in hopes it will stop then nasty scraper sites from stealing my content, but still allow RSS subscribers to read what I have posted, or at least know what the post will be about.

I have pretty much had it when it comes to my sites being scraped and Google not doing anything about their accounts, because the Scrapers are scraping your stuff to generate leads to their AdSense Plastered Plagiarizing sites.

Let me know what you think about the idea. Do you like it? Don’t care? Or do you hate the idea?

I think it’s a great way to tell the scrapers that they can go F’ themselves.

But this is just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
