Old Lady Arrested For Keeping Kids Balls

When I read articles like this, I just have to shake my head and say stuff like, “With all the trouble with wars, murderers, child abduction, and so many other terrible things taking place in the world today, they need to stoop as low as this?”

The old lady was probably just getting pissed off at the kids barging in on her property, and by the amount of balls she has already taken, I don’t blame her.

The kids parents need to tell them to stay the hell away from the property and play elsewhere, or here’s another idea, “How about playing in your own GD Yard?”

Old people rest a lot, so I can imagine she just sick and tired of being startled awake with kids running in and out of her yard.

Police say one child’s father complained that Jester kept the youngsters’ ball after it landed in her yard.

Police Capt. James Schaffer says there has been an ongoing dispute in the neighbourhood over kids’ balls landing in the woman’s yard.

Can you imagine making this old lady spend six months in jail for petty theft charges? An 89-year old lady, going to the slammer for keeping an undisciplined kid’s ball.

You would figure that after having his balls confiscated they would eventually get the hint that, maybe, just Maaaybe, that area isn’t such a great place to play.

Here’s some video of the arrest:

If this is so serious, then I pity all them School Teachers and School Principles that have confiscated toys from students over the years. The whole worlds School districts will have to teach from a cell!

This is just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.

The mom of the kid was so frustrated because it was a ball that the kid paid for himself. Why wasn’t she getting as frustrated for the poor old woman whose yard the balls keep landing in? Funny how the mom gets involved NOW. She coudln’t have been involved BEFORE - like taking her kids to the park or something? This is completely assinine and I hope when she is ninety that all the kids in the neighborhood throw balls in her yard or all the neighbors dogs poop in her yard. Sheesh.

    My thoughts exactly.

Everybody’s going to be 89 years old someday; so why not show some respect to our old people? This situation is very easy to understand really. A child has a right to play and an old lady has a right to rest. The world we live in will be peaceful when we respect other people’s private space.

Nothing wrong with the old lady doing so. She might be frustated with the children throwing balls into her yard.

The world has gone mad. What happend to good old common sense and respect for others? It’s stuff like this that reminds me why I like animals so much. I hope we will all be 89 one day, I just hope we don’t end up in prison for making a stand.
