More Food Recalls!!!??

Holy cow! Is it me, or does anybody else out there starting to think it  would be better and safer to grow and make your own food and beverage these days?

Another recall after China’s tainted milk scandal has reached Canadian supermarket shelves. Mr. Brown 3-in-1 instant coffee are being recalled because they might contain melamine, a chemical often used in plastics.

I’m starting to think that buying local is the only way to go, but even local food producers are recalling their stuff. Like Maple Leaf Foods for example. The idea of growing and producing my own food and beverage doesn’t really seem all that bad now, does it.

People are still dying, and companies are still taking short cuts. When does it get to the point of being so bad that they really hammer down on random inspections and product checks?

I think that if more than one person dies from your product, then you should be forced to close your doors and not to be let to sell food products EVER again. That’s my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
