Canadian Idol - Doesn’t Look Promising
You know what? I actually thought that the Canadian contestants would be up there with the recent season of American Idol this year. From what I have seen so far, I don’t think there is any talent this year.
I’m hoping that they are just not showing the good talent just yet and holding back to make the other ones look OK so they can stretch it out to fill in for the entire season.
There are a couple of rockers that I thought were good, but they didn’t show enough of them and not for very long. Like the last American Idol, I hope that the viewers are more mature and maybe this time somebody with talent instead of preteen popularity will win this seasons Canadian Idol.
I can’t believe some of the ones they put through already, they are terrible. I wish they would get rid of the current judges and replace them with some people that have class.
This is just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
UPDATE: Well after watching last nights show, I have changed my mind. The male contestants seem to be bringing the talent this season. I’ve yet to see any female contestants show up with any vocal talent.
It’s a nice twist to have them play instrumnents if they are able to. But that’s just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.

Maybe the Carly Simon look alike might, but I would be a perverted old man if I had my jaw dropping at them 16 year old kids.
I wonder if I’m related to that MacDonald fella? He’s from Cape Breton and that’s where my Dads side of the family are all from too.
