Wow! All the good ones are getting voted out. It just seems like a Karaoke Contest now.
If they give Theo Tams the boot, I will have completely lost all faith in Canada’s taste in music. This kid has got some really awesome musical talent, plus can sing the pipes off the wall. I supposed it’s the time he has spent in Vocal Training that has paid off so far.
Mookie might make it to the top simply because if his originality, he sorta has that Beatles Theme about him, along with Mitch, as he too has his own originality with his own high pitch kinda’ voice.
As for the last two female competitors, I really can’t see them lasting. They’re in the same boat as this Earl guy, you know? I mean seriously! Why the hell is he still there? When he performs, it almost like he’s performing for himself in a very bad Karaoke performance.
As far as I can tell is, that Theo Tams will/should be the winner of this season. He is the only one with some real serious talent.
But the honest truth is that we all know, it’s all a popularity contest. So with that said, we’ll probably see that buffoon Earl holding this season’s Canadian Idiot title.
But this is all just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
In my spare time I do a lot of video editing and music composing. Sometime a certain project will be in need of a certain sound or melody and creating just any sound effect isn’t as easy as turning on a mic and recording one.
The reason for that is, simply because I just don’t have the tools to do certain things. For example, I’m not going to walk up to a strange dog and get it to bark so I can record it. I’ll end up getting my face ripped off.
You can go online and find hundreds of sites that provide samples of different sounds and melodies. But a lot of them are sometimes stolen from other sites and do not have royalty free rights on them.
Using Royalty Free Sound Effects is a safe way to keep yourself out of trouble and from breaking any copyright laws by using copywrited material. Even if it means spending a few pennies or a few bucks on the sound files. You get to use them in whatever way you want, and you will not be penalized by anybody claiming that you stole their work.
SonoBuzz is just such a place you can preview and download sound effects and music samples for your very own personal use.
So if you plan on making some sort of project that requires a sound effect or a music track, remember to go with Royalty Free Sound Effects and stay safe and legal.

The title of this post seems like a worthy question, doesn’t it? Well if you live here in Canada, the answer to that would be because you simply just can’t go eclectic cars.
Despite increasing local demand for zero-emissions cars and trucks and robust exports of electric vehicles, Canada will not allow them on its roads.
Transport Canada says the vehicles made of lightweight metals and plastics are not safe to drive on Canada’s open roads, and would not stand up in a collision. Full article.
OK, fair enough, but what about allowing them in cities at least? Since a lot of emmisions are from cities, then why not allow them there instead? Makes sence to me, what about you?
Clifford’s frustration is aggravated by the view that Canadians are increasingly concerned about the environment and are said to be eager to drive electric vehicles in this warming climate.
Hell yea! Let’s not forget the fact that gas prices are through the roof. Gas prices are getting to the point now that it costs more for gas than it does for car payments and insurance.
I’m all for an electric car. Just as long as they keep the cost of them reasonable, I’m sure they’ll have more buyers than they could shake a stick at.

Handsome fella isn’t he? Yup he sure is, because it is me. I naturally give off that glow when flirting with the ladies, I believe it gets hypnotic to them. A simple raise of the eyebrow, and a smirk of a smile, but not showing the teeth, since I don’t want to come off as desperate. Just being subtle enough to send the message without any verbal comments to give them the hint. As if to say, “Hey baby. You look fine tonight.” If the look doesn’t go well you can always speak up and say something like, “Awe! Dammit it all!” and when she says , “What?”, you reply with, “Oh nothing, I was just under the impression that I was the only beautiful one here tonight.” I know I’m not the Love Guru or anything, but I’ve got a few compliments on that line. Do you think you have the flirting game down? Extreme Style by VO5 has a web site that features a web game where you compete with others on the internet to see if you have what it takes to flirt with others, and if you are as good as you think you are. You can play the little applet embedded in this post, but going to the site to play Ultimate Flirting Championship is a lot more entertaining since you can play it on a bigger screen and there are more features available, like saving your own character for example.
The game is actually pretty entertaining. Just as long as there’s people to play against. So spread the word and get your friends to log in and play the game, it’s fun. It’s especially funny when one wins and they get victory hair. The questions you can ask or answer are really fun too. I hope to see you all there playing and having a blast like I am, it’s a vey fun game, but that’s just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
You know what? I actually thought that the Canadian contestants would be up there with the recent season of American Idol this year. From what I have seen so far, I don’t think there is any talent this year.
I’m hoping that they are just not showing the good talent just yet and holding back to make the other ones look OK so they can stretch it out to fill in for the entire season.
There are a couple of rockers that I thought were good, but they didn’t show enough of them and not for very long. Like the last American Idol, I hope that the viewers are more mature and maybe this time somebody with talent instead of preteen popularity will win this seasons Canadian Idol.
I can’t believe some of the ones they put through already, they are terrible. I wish they would get rid of the current judges and replace them with some people that have class.
This is just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
UPDATE:Well after watching last nights show, I have changed my mind. The male contestants seem to be bringing the talent this season. I’ve yet to see any female contestants show up with any vocal talent.
It’s a nice twist to have them play instrumnents if they are able to. But that’s just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
The lady in the photo to the left (36-year-old waitress Stacey Fearnall from Owen Sound, in Ontario Canada) raised more than $2,700 for the charity Cops for Cancer, a local fundraiser for cancer research.
Everyone should be proud of her right?
Well apparently her Boss at Nathaniels restaurant wasn’t proud of her at all. Instead of embracing the opportunity to support her and promote her cause gaining restaurant publicity, they decided to fire her.
Up until a week ago, Fearnall had long red locks, but she said she made the decision to have her head shaved because she has a friend battling cancer and she lost her father to the disease.
“I felt like this was a pretty easy thing for me to do to raise money to help people,” she told CBC News on Thursday.
She said she told her bosses what she was planning to do, but when she arrived at work at the restaurant practically bald, she said they sent her home and told her she wasn’t welcome back.
She isn’t sure if she wants to sue, since this can go under a gender issue because men work in restaurants with bald heads. If she doesn’t want to sue for herself, then she should sue and donate the money she is rewarded from the courts to her cancer cause.
People are boycotting the restaurant, as I think they should. At least until the Chef (Dan Hilliard) make a public appology and shaved his head and matches what Stacey has raised in her cancer cause. If he doesn’t then I can see the restaurant going down to the ground in a burning pile of ash. Unfortunately, it will mean the loss of jobs to those working there, but in my opinion, they could do better, Stacey found a job pretty quickly, so I suppose they should be able to too.
Of course this is all just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
You know what I hate the most when playing Playstation 3 games or working/chatting/gaming on the computer while have a few nice cold beer to enhance your fun? It is having to get up to get yourself another cold beer when you go empty.
I think it would be awesome to have a beer fridge, OK they’re called Dorm Fridges, but come on, lets get real. Do you really think there’s going to be anything else but beer in a dorm room?
Well anyway, just think about it! You go out and buy yourself one of them Dorm Fridges, and you place it beside your couch or futon, or beside your computer desk. You’re playing an online game or Playstation 3 game and you really only have seconds in between games levels or online death matching to grab yourself another nice cold beer.
What do you do? Die of thirst? No! you reach down into one of these Dorm Fridges that you so conveniently have placed beside you, that is also so conveniently stocked full of nice cold beers!
These things aren’t really all that expensive either, you can search for a good buy on one over at WIZE’dot’COM if ya’ want. (UPDATE - the advertiser for this post pulled out after 3 weeks of free linkage and decided to not pay for the review. So maybe they aren’t what they appear to be after all. Maybe it would be WIZE not to use their services.)
Now that problem is solved, that only leave one other one. What do you do with all that beer you consumed???? :O

Over the past several years, I have owned and created several web sites for both myself, and for clients I have designed web sites for. Other than designing the web site itself, I often found that creating a logo for that company or web site is just as hard or even harder.
To get that perfect design right the first time is essential because it will be what your viewers or customers will become familiar with when it comes to recognizing you.
